 ALICE IN WONDERLAND  UA TUEN MUN

The first of a series of such built for one of the largest chain cinemas in Hong Kong – U A Tuen Mun – has just been completed and its design exists in this rather special milieu between Pop Art and Fine Art; the Commercial and the Philosophical; and accommodates the idiosyncratic tastes of each and every cinema goers in our Age of Post-Structuralism.

EYE-BALL COLUMN 

The Giant Eye-Ball Column which acts as a TV screen for movie trailers and the abstract “Rabbit Hole” from Alice in Wonderland at the main entrance.

 THE LIQUID BAR 

The Liquid Bar will entice you with soft drinks and popcorn all displayed under a wall of traffic mirrors disguised as silver bubbles above the horizon reflecting the giant UA logos opposite.
